Mark Harley

Attorney Mark Harley received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, magna cum laude, from Geneva College and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Akron School of Law in 2004.  While in law school, Attorney Harley clerked for Justice Tawia Modibo Ocran, Supreme Court Justice of Ghana and Professor of International Law at the University of Akron. During law school, Attorney Harley focused primarily on international law.

Attorney Harley was admitted to the Bar of the State of Pennsylvania in 2004.  Before joining May Law Group, Attorney Harley served as Constituent Service Representative on the staff of United States Congresswoman Melissa Hart, where he focused on matters concerning immigration and national security.  In addition, Attorney Harley has considerable experience addressing complex immigration law.  He worked for three years as an immigration attorney at a law firm in Pittsburgh, focusing largely on family, business, and naturalization cases. 

He is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, Allegheny County Bar Association, and Beaver County Bar Association.  Attorney Harley has served as Secretary for the Pittsburgh Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and as District Coordinator for the 2007 and 2008 AILA Lobby Days.  He is currently Treasurer of the Pittsburgh Chapter of AILA.
